Pop Warner News
December 28th, 2007
Three CFOA members were assigned to work the Pop
Warner National Championship game this past
Saturday, December 8. Frank Scaletta was the
referee, Andy Powell the umpire and Mike Goodspeed,
the clock operator. They were joined by two
officials each from Pennsylvania and Hawaii.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN December 27 @
2:30PM.

Steve Anderson, as he was hired this month by the NBA to
work in the NBA Development League (D-League) for this
upcoming season. Steve has worked in the CFOA for both
Basketball and Football, and currently resides in
Gainesville while continuing to work football for the CFOA. |

The Central Florida
Officials Association, in conjunction with the
MCOA and FHSAA, hosted a 2007 Football Field
Clinic in Cocoa Beach August 10-12. Over 200
officials attended for a highly successful weekend
of football education and season preparation.
