There are three steps to becoming a high school
sports official with the CFOA. If you are new,
please start with the first section below by
filling out our recruiting form. We will contact
you and give you more information on joining the
CFOA and becoming a registered contest official
with the Florida High School Athletic Association,
as well as all of our training opportunities.
Existing CFOA members should skip to step 2.

STEP ONE:
IM NEW TO THE CFOA AND WOULD LIKE TO JOIN
Officiating High School sports is a great way to
stay involved with the game of your choice and
provide an important service to the community.
Interested in joining the CFOA? If you are a new
official or transferring to the area, please fill
out the following form and a member of the CFOA
will contact you. Once we have your information,
we will give you details on how to register with
the CFOA, FHSAA, and any pertinent dates for
upcoming seasons.

STEP
TWO:
REGISTERING
WITH THE CFOA (OR RENEWING MEMBERSHIP FOR EXISTING
MEMBERS)
For Current CFOA Members, and
new/transfer officials who have completed the
recruitment process, please fill out the
appropriate form below for each sport you plan to officiate and register with the FHSAA
accordingly. Football and Basketball Officials
will have dues deducted
from their first CFOA check of the season.

REGISTER FOR THE FHSAA TO OFFICIATE A HIGH SCHOOL
SPORT
All
officials must register with the FHSAA each season
by published deadlines and sign up to take the
rules examination and clinic for that sport
