October 9, 2007
Dear Association Officers:
(FOOTBALL & VOLLEYBALL)
Suspensions will take affect on October 23, 2007
for those officials who failed
to view an online rules video presentation and/or
take the exam.
Any official who is listed on your Muster Report
as suspended after October 23rd
should be removed from any further assignments
immediately. Please be reminded,
any official who is suspended in one sport, is
suspended in all sports until the
suspension is lifted. Suspensions will be
lifted upon payment received in the
FHSAA office, or by paying online. The fine
penalty assessed the official is
$50.00 for each event missed.
Appeals must be made in writing using Form OF3,
which can be downloaded off the
contest official’s page of the FHSAA website.
Appeals should also include
cancelation of the sport if need be. Please
allow 3 to 5 business days for
processing.
If you find a suspension to be in error, i.e. an
official who viewed an online
rules video presentation and/or took the exam,
please contact our office via
email reply (appeals@fhsaa.org)
with the name of the official, and the type of
the event missed, so we can research this for you.
Officials who are listed as suspended will not be
allowed to renew their
registration next year until these fines have been
resolved.
Thank you for your support during our challenge
with the transition to online
testing!
