IPAD/Blackberry Use on the Bench
FHSAA has clarified that any team may use an IPAD or any other electronic device for "statistical purposes only." If the coach states the use of the electronic device is for keeping statistics, the official will accept this statement from the coach and resume normal game operations.
Lake Minneola High School Information
This is a new high school. The gymnasium floor is not lined correctly. There is no coaches box end line so you will need to mark off 14 Ft. from the 28 ft line and put tape down.
There is also no "X" in front of the table for substitutes. Please use tape and mark the "X".
Directions: Take Hwy 50 west past the Florida Turnpike towards Clermont. Turn RIGHT on N. Hancock Rd. (Super Target store on Corner) If you pass South Lake Hospital, you have gone too far.
Follow N Hancock Rd. for about a mile. At the traffic light, turn RIGHT on Turkey Farm Rd. The School is located a half mile on the right.
Attention Basketball Officials:
Subject: Arm Sleeves
We have been informed by FHSAA that "A MEDICAL NOTE IS REQUIRED to wear an arm sleeve. The sleeve is to be white, black, beige, a single solid school color, the same color for every team member, one manufacturers logo, and must be worn for MEDICAL PURPOSES. One letter is acceptable for the season."
